Terrible!

The worst keynotes ever, yet! Man, these were dissapointing. Surely Microsoft and Apple could do a better job. That was terrible!

The Connected Experience

I always hear about companies saying how their products deliver a connected experience but the one fault I find with all of this is that this companies product doesn’t work with this. If you choose to have a “Microsoft household” you have to buy :

1. Xbox 360
2. Windows PC
3. Edition of Vista with Media Center
4. Microsoft Zune
5. Windows Home Server

On the other hand if you chose to live the “Apple” way:

1. Mac with Leopard
2. Ipod
3. Apple TV
4. Time Capsule
5. iPhone

There are many other ways I could have listed. Wouldn’t it be great if all products worked seamlessly with each other. Before any company can claim they have a full connected experience all their products would have to work with a competing companies products. My household contains a mix of companies: Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple. What sucks is my Home Server doesn’t work with my MacBook which doesn’t connect to my PSP which doesn’t… You probably get what I mean. Don’t believe when companies say they got a connected experience until their products work with competing companies products.
