The worst keynotes ever, yet! Man, these were dissapointing. Surely Microsoft and Apple could do a better job. That was terrible!

The Connected Experience
January 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment
I always hear about companies saying how their products deliver a connected experience but the one fault I find with all of this is that this companies product doesn’t work with this. If you choose to have a “Microsoft household” you have to buy :
- Xbox 360
- Windows PC
- Edition of Vista with Media Center
- Microsoft Zune
- Windows Home Server
On the other hand if you chose to live the “Apple” way:
- Mac with Leopard
- Ipod
- Apple TV
- Time Capsule
- iPhone
There are many other ways I could have listed. Wouldn’t it be great if all products worked seamlessly with each other. Before any company can claim they have a full connected experience all their products would have to work with a competing companies products. My household contains a mix of companies: Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple. What sucks is my Home Server doesn’t work with my MacBook which doesn’t connect to my PSP which doesn’t…Â You probably get what I mean. Don’t believe when companies say they got a connected experience until their products work with competing companies products.
