A unified troubleshooting center

I wake up happily. I’m on the computer, insert a disk in the CD drive and wait. Nothing happened so I clicked Computer, I don’t see the CD Drive there. I load Device Manager, found out “Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)”.
I looked back at the things I did. I used TuneUp Utilities Registry Cleaner and TuneUp. Then I realized that (more…)

Bad Error Message

I came across this error message while using Windows Vista (SP1):

If the operation completed successfully why the heck is it an error message. And what operation! This error violates Microsoft’s own rules “Don’t report errors for conditions that users consider acceptable”
Shouldn’t this notification state what operation completed successfully! Hope these type of error messages will be fixed in Windows 7.

Unexpected Internet Outage

Wow. That was shocking. I turn on my computer, BAM, no internet.. This is the third time this happened. Called 310-Surf, “your service is down”. “Call back Monday” What the heck. Call Back Monday! What type of customer support is that? Bell Canada is not reliable. But I’m not switching to Rogers. I hear their worse. Since the internet is back it will blog posting as usual.
