Why Apple is slowly succeeding

October 18, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Apple is succeeding if at a slow but steady pace. That’s because all it’s products work seamlessly with each other. Apple Mac OS X works well with every Mac product because Apple made both of them. Time Capsule works perfectly with Apple Mac OS X and the iMac because Apple made all of them.

While on the Microsoft side, Microsoft made Vista which is being used on a Dell computer. Not a Microsoft company! An HP printer being connected to a Dell PC and Vista. The printer and PC – not made by Microsoft! The PC companies install lots of bloatware on your computer which slows it down significantly.

For example: When I did a clean install of XP on a 512 MB computer, it felt like a 1 GB computer!

Apple on the other hand can manage whether bloatware get’s installed or not.

Due to those crap filled Apple commercials where people old granny’s watch believing that Vista is terrible.

If Microsoft can get all it’s PC makers to stop bloatware and get compatibility between most devices then maybe it can stop users from switching.

Gaming Invasion 08!

October 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Sorry for not posting in a long time

On October 17-19 , in Toronto, Ontario, at Best Buy stores in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) the Gaming Invasion event will start.

You’ll be able to play Gears of War 2 before November 7, 2008. You’ll also play Guitar Hero World Tour and Little Big Planet (is it in beta).

You’ll be able to battle in gaming tournaments for “great” prizes  and will also see the award-winning JUNO Rock Band at the Yonge-Dundas Sqaure at 6:30.

I’m so excited. For people in other countries, I will probably be uploading photos of the event. At least something worthwhile is happening in Canada.
